Today we finished viewing The Visitor. I handed out the Research Paper Assignment, and we will go to the library to begin research on Friday. Mrs. Berry will be giving you some guidelines about where to look for research material and how to access academic journals - you will need this information for university, so it should be very helpful!Homework: Please read "Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong." (up to page 110)
Wednesday we will discuss The Visitor further - there will be a handout with questions. We will also carry on with The Things They Carried. There will be a test on the novel when we finish reading it, so you should be mentally prepared for that.
